Biography

 
Part of the TJCA community since 2014, Kristen currently serves as a 1st-grade teacher. 
 
Her accomplishments include: 
 
  • Serving as the Grammar School Staff Board Representative
 
She earned a:
 
  • Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Western Kentucky University
  • Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
 
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter. They enjoy camping, hiking, and kayaking and are overjoyed to call Western North Carolina home. She also worked as a reporter for a daily paper in Kentucky and also served as a public relations associate for Transylvania University.
