Biography for Mrs. Smith

Denise joined TJCA in 2025. She is a third-grade teacher.

She attended college at Western Carolina University, Southern Wesleyan University, and Appalachian State University, where she studied teaching and leadership.

Denise has been a teacher for 30 years. She worked as a Lead Teacher in Cleveland County and at Spindale Elementary School.

Denise lives in the Golden Valley area of Rutherford County with her husband. She loves spending time with her two children. She is also the choir director at her church. Denise enjoys walking, swimming, reading, music, and learning new things. Both of her children attended TJCA and now have great jobs that they love.
