Biography for Mrs. Church

Heather joined TJCA in 2025. She is a fifth-grade teacher.

She attended college at Gardner-Webb University and Appalachian State University, where she studied teaching and reading.

Heather has been a teacher for 25 years. She taught in Rutherford County Schools for 19 years and at Cherokee Charter Academy for 5 years. In 2010, she earned a special teaching award called National Board Certification.

Heather lives with her husband and son on a farm in Cherokee County, SC. On their farm, they raise horses, cows, and pigs. She also has three dogs. Heather likes cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and animals.
