The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Board of Directors met this past evening and decided to implement a mandatory mask policy for grades K-12. This decision was not taken lightly and is consistent with the strong recommendations of the NCDHHS, the CDC, and our local health officials. The Board intends to immediately transition to a mask-optional model once Rutherford County's infection rates are declining and trending in the yellow on the COVID Dashboard. The Board of Directors will reconvene on September 7th to reevaluate this decision.
